The single two hour surf lesson aims to get you up and riding your surfboard by splitting the lesson into three easy parts.
1.Introduction and Warm Up
Learn about the equipment and essential information about how to stay safe in the surf. We then run through a surfing specific warm up stretching out key muscle groups to help you get the most out of your body for the surf. The warm up helps to reduce the risk of sprains, and help your muscles recover quicker, ready for your next surf
2. Prone Surfing
Getting out through the surf and managing you surfboard in the water, positioning on your surfboard and basic control and whilst lying are all covered in the second part of your surf lesson. You will also learn about which waves to go for and which ones are best to avoid, which can often make or break a surfing experience.
3. Getting to your feet.
We go through a couple of methods of getting to your feet once you have got the hang of prone surfing. You find out which one suits you best on the beach then get the hang of it on the waves.
A single lesson could also be tailored to your own surfing needs, with small groups our professional instructors can differentiate the lesson to ensure you get the tuition that best suits your level of surfing.
Private Surf Lesson £80
One to one private surf lessons and courses can include fitness training programs, video analysis, and competition techniques. Or for beginners just a sense of security you get from having the undivided attention of your surf instructor if you are challenging yourself and pushing personal limits.
A course of private lessons can be arranged to last over a longer period of time, at a significantly reduced rate off season, to give you a chance to take in and practice what you have learned in a lesson and build on it throughout the course whether it be a couple of weeks a whole season or even longer. A surf course can be put together to suit your individual surfing needs if you wanted a mixture of private and group lessons.
