It All Comes Down to Them
At the end of the day a surf lesson is only as good as your instructor so we take great care in recruiting the best of a big bunch, and fortunately for us they come back every year!
All our surf instructors are fully qualified International Surfing Association qualified Surf Instructors and beach lifeguards. They have an enhanced DBS certificate and trained in safeguarding. Also importantly they are all awesome, patient and enthusiastic surf instructors that absolutely love their jobs.
Tom Roberson Owner & Head Instructor
As owner of Breaker Surf School, Tom’s main priority is that you have a great time surfing and the best way to do that is to be in the water as much as possible
As a level 2 surf instructor with 28 years experience surfing around the world, 20 years teaching surfing and surf lifesaving, and four years as a beach lifeguard Tom is one of the most experienced surf instructors around and he still loves the job more and more every year. With an HND in Surf Science there is no shortage of knowledge around the technical aspects of surfing which comes in handy as you progress with the sport.
Tristan Sandbrook
We are lucky to have Tristan come back to us year after year to share his expertise and passion for surfing. Having grown up surfing in Wales since he was a young child then travelling the globe searching for the next perfect wave, he now loves coming back to Cornwall every summer to pass on the stoke.I know he will be looking forward to getting back in there with you all for 2021.
Jaydene Kerton
Jaydene grew up surfing in and around St.Agnes and started travelling around the world in search of perfect waves and snow many years ago and hasn’t stopped yet. Fortunately for us she always comes home for summer to share her passion surfing, often in the sea 6 hours straight doing to job she loves, and she is back again for 2021 for her 5th season with us!
