
Stand up paddling boarding lessons and tours are a great way to get outdoors and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Cornwall. It is also a fun, year round activity that the whole family can enjoy. Once mastered, gliding through the water on a paddle board can be a deeply relaxing experience and this may explain why it has become so popular over the last few years.
Breakers Surf School offer tuition and guided tours around the area of outstanding natural beauty and heritage coast of St. Agnes. Although Trevaunace Cove in St Agnes is our favourite place to SUP we also offer sessions in others areas of Cornwall including Falmouth, Marizion (home of St. Michaels Mount,) the Roseland peninsula the many rivers and estuaries in and around Cornwall.

You must be a competent swimmer to book in for both the lesson or the tour. Minimum age of 10 for this activity. Under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult at a ratio of 1 adult to children.
Stand Up Paddleboard Lesson
1.5 hours - £40




This session is designed for those who are new to stand up paddle boarding or who have had a few lessons but are still refining their skills both kneeling and standing. We use the calm, sheltered area within Trevaunace cove (other locations available on request,) where we cover:
Stand up paddleboarding safety
Paddling in a prone position
How to paddle the board kneeling
How to paddle the board standing
Techniques to turn the board
After refining our technique will head over to Trevellas beach and explore the beautiful coast line which includes rocks, caves, local wildlife and we will share a little of the local history of the cove.
Teachings aims may vary to suit age and ability of group as well as weather conditions.
Stand Up Paddleboard Tour
2.5 hours - £55





This tour is only available to groups who can already successfully paddle in a standing position, and are able to easily turn and manoeuvre the board. A good level of fitness is also required to be able to enjoy this session as it is 2.5 hours long.

Equipped with these skills we can safely take you on a tour of the local coastline or inland water ways visiting:
Secret beaches
Waterfalls
Local wildlife
Hidden caves and arches
Smuggling tunnels
Ancient mine shafts
Stand Up Paddleboards are also available to hire they come in a carry bag with a pump and fit in the boot of any car.. So if your fancy exploring inland water ways or the beaches yourself then you can choose from a range of sizes and set off.
